Provincial Mathematical Olympiad
The second stage of competition conducted across the 7 provinces of Nepal, gathering the highest-scoring DMO qualifiers.
Contestants who qualified from Stage 1 (DMO) across the 7 Provinces of Nepal.
Stage 2: Comprehensive subjective examination consisting of 8 analytical proof-based problems across Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, and Combinatorics. Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes).
Top 10-15 high scorers from each province advance to the National Mathematical Olympiad (NMO) finals in Kathmandu.

Algebra & Inequalities
Polynomials, functional equations, AM-GM, Cauchy-Schwarz inequalities, sequences & recurrences.
Number Theory
Divisibility, primes, modular arithmetic, Euler totient theorem, Diophantine equations, LTE lemma.
Euclidean Geometry
Triangles, cyclic quadrilaterals, power of a point, radical axis, projective geometry, homothety.
Combinatorics & Graph Theory
Counting principles, pigeonhole principle, invariant principles, graph coloring, extremal combinatorics.
